WELCOME to Ms Berahzer's Algebra 2 Class
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Algebra 2 is designed to demonstrate how Algebra will be used in real-life situations and provide students with the skills they require to take college level courses like Pre-Calculus, Analysis of Functions and AP Statistics.
This goal is accomplished through integration, application, and connections.
Prerequisite: Algebra I, Geometry
Text: Algebra II , 2nd Edition, BJU Press
The course is designed to provide experiences that utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The course includes topics such as linear equations and inequalities with applications, absolute value, polynomials and factoring, algebraic fractions, rational expressions with applications, exponents, roots and radicals, quadratic equations with applications, relations and functions, graphs and system of linear equations and inequalities with applications.
